Privacy Policy
Last updated September 8, 2026Who we are
Customer Journey is operated by Data Nerd LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“Customer Journey,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect through customerjourney.so and through the Customer Journey product, why we collect it, and how you can reach us about it.
Questions about this policy can be sent to gonzalo@customerjourney.so.
Data collected on customerjourney.so
This marketing website does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts, and it does not set non-essential cookies. The only personal data we receive from a visit to customerjourney.so is what you choose to send us directly — for example, by emailing us. Our hosting provider, Vercel, generates standard server logs (such as IP address and request timestamps) to operate and secure the site; we do not use these logs for tracking or marketing.
Data collected through the Customer Journey product
Customer Journey is an early-stage product built to turn a company’s customer calls and CRM data into customer journeys. When you connect your own tools to Customer Journey, we process:
- Sales call and CRM data that you choose to connect, synced through Nango, a third-party integration platform used across B2B SaaS.
- Account information, such as your name, work email, and workspace details, needed to operate your account.
- Questions you ask inside the product, and the responses generated from your connected data.
Connected data is stored in Supabase with row-level security, so each workspace can only access its own data. We do not proactively push your data to any AI provider — insights are shared with ChatGPT or Claude only at the moment you ask a question inside the product, using your own connection to that AI provider.
How we use data
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Customer Journey product.
- To respond to support requests you send us.
- To secure the site and product against abuse.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share your connected call or CRM data with third parties except the service providers described in this policy, or as required by law.
Sub-processors and third-party services
We rely on a small number of service providers to operate Customer Journey, each of which processes data on our behalf and under its own privacy terms:
- Vercel — hosting for customerjourney.so and the Customer Journey product.
- Nango — integration platform used to sync CRM and call data from the tools you connect.
- Supabase — database storage for connected data, secured with per-workspace row-level security.
- OpenAI and/or Anthropic — used only when you ask a question inside the product, through your own connection to that provider.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, including per-workspace row-level security in our database. Customer Journey is an early-stage product, and we do not currently hold formal certifications such as SOC 2. If a certification is required for your organization, contact us and we’ll let you know where things stand.
Data retention and your rights
Source data. Call transcripts and CRM records pulled from the tools you connect are stored as text, as received, for as long as your workspace exists. We do not store audio or video. Disconnecting a source stops new data from arriving but keeps what was already stored, so your history stays intact. A workspace admin can erase all stored source data at any time with “Delete all workspace data” in Settings, and deleting the workspace removes everything. Credentials for connected tools are held by Nango, our connection provider, never by Customer Journey, and are deleted when you disconnect.
Assistant request log. Every request an AI assistant makes to Customer Journey on your behalf is logged with the tool called, its arguments, and the text returned, truncated. Because answers are built from your own calls, that log can contain quotes from your customers and the questions your team asks. It is kept for as long as the workspace exists, is readable only by workspace admins, and is used solely to measure and improve the quality of answers. It is deleted together with your source data by “Delete all workspace data” and by workspace deletion.
Weekly brief. Once a week, when there is new evidence, Customer Journey emails each member of a workspace a short brief about one of its customers, built from the same stored calls and CRM notes. Every member can turn it off in Settings. We keep a record of which customer was briefed and when, deleted with the workspace data.
Your rights. Workspace admins can delete everything Customer Journey holds for their workspace themselves, at any time, from the Settings page: “Delete all workspace data” removes stored source data and the request log, and deleting the workspace removes the workspace itself and every member’s access. Members can ask an admin to remove them, and an admin can delete their own account from the same page. You can also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing gonzalo@customerjourney.so. We will respond and act on verified requests within a reasonable time.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Customer Journey evolves. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of customerjourney.so or the Customer Journey product after a change means you accept the updated policy.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
